The Vermont Department of Financial Regulation (DFR) is holding a hybrid in-person and virtual public event Tuesday to gather information for a study into the business practices of auto insurance companies in the state, according to a notice the department placed in the Times Argus

Labor rates, the use of aftermarket parts, market conditions and other business practices will be a focus of the public event, the notice says. It says members of the public are invited to participate in person or remotes to offer their perspectives and input on the subject.

The event will be held between 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Montpelier at City Center, 89 Main Street, in the third floor conference space of the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation/Secretary of State. Signage will be placed at the City Center to guide in-person attendees at the entrance.

Those needing to attend remotely can do so through Microsoft Teams by clicking this link.
