By onAnnouncements | Technology
Hunter Engineering has released an update for 2025 vehicle information on its alignment, ADAS, and inspection equipment.
The release covers new records that didn’t exist at the time of the previous release and updates records to include OEM changes to existing vehicles, a Hunter Engineering press release says.
There are 445 new records and more than 1,300 updates to records, including the 2025 Toyota Camry.
The release also incorporates updates to popular software features, such as the tools and kits database, TPMSpecs database and reset procedures, VIN recall support, adjustment assistance, ADAS calibration procedures, and more.
To ensure a seamless installation, Hunter customers should contact their service representatives to schedule the upgrade, the press release says.
According to Hunter Engineering’s website, the update also includes:
-
- Detailed line drawings or photos for alignment service procedures.
- Explainer and demonstration videos on adjustment procedures.
- Tools, parts, and kits needed to perform all alignment procedures.
- Vehicle-specific TPMS procedures and follow easy-to-understand instructions.
Hunter technology has been installed on more than 100,000 units worldwide, including hundreds of OEM facilities, and is powered by the industry’s most extensive global vehicle information database backed by a three-year warranty, the press release says.
The next vehicle information database update release is scheduled for May 2025.
In February, Nissan and Infiniti approved the use of Hunter Engineering’s Ultimate ADAS calibration system in dealer and collision networks.
Hunter Engineering claims the tool eliminates errors typically made with manual layouts via static ADAS calibrations.
The tool replaces plumb bobs, strings, and tape measures used in manual layouts with a gimbal-mounted laser for a guided target replacement.
Hunter Engineering also took home the 2023 SEMA Best New ADAS Product Award.
