Volkswagen picks PPG and Entegral for repair facility auditing
By onAnnouncements
Volkswagen’s Certified Collision Repair Facility (CCRF) Program auditing services will now be conducted and managed by PPG Industries, Inc. (PPG).
VW, PPG, and Entegral will work together to improve efficiency and accuracy through more localized representation, according to a March 24 memo.
A localized approach comes “with better understanding of the markets in which our collision network operates,” the memo says.
Entegral’s Network Management tool will provide bi-directional communications, program resources, and analytics that will be used to “forge a more robust program,” according to VW.
“These changes are aimed at improving efficiency and service but we anticipate that it will take some time to fully implement,” the memo states.
A timeline wasn’t provided. An email to CCRF network shops states that PPG business development representatives began providing the auditing services on March 4.
