Certified Collision Group, Inc. (CCG) recently announced the acquisition of Square One Systems groups, which includes Coyote Vision Group, according to a recent press release.

Erin Solis, formerly CCG director of OEM and industry relations, has been promoted to senior vice president of Square One Systems and will work to expand the system, the release says.

Square One Systems, along with Coyote Vision Group will remain an option for independent repairers, Solis said Tuesday. She said members of the two groups don’t have to join CCG.

Square One Systems is a sister company to CCG and will continue to operate independently of it, she said.

The acquisition gives each of the groups the ability to share resources in supporting independent repairers, she said.

“They work to help them grow; to help them understand their financials and build their cultures,” Solis said. “Those are all things that resonate with CCG.”

Each of the groups share information about shop processes and financial data, while supporting shop culture, she said.

Shops are able to compare financial data such as gross and net profits, she said. They can see how their shop compares to benchmarks. Those not meeting the benchmarks can find support from other members willing to share information.

Michelle Sullivan, CCG CEO, said in the release that she’s excited to welcome the two groups to the CCG portfolio.

“Square One has demonstrated over 40 years of innovative leadership in delivering effective solutions centered around analytics, collaboration, and accountability,” said Sullivan. “Performance-driven groups enhance top-performing, like-minded operators, ultimately elevating the entire industry. We are delighted to continue to support Coyote Vision Group and Square One Performance group members as they optimize business performance, seize opportunities, and foster community growth.”

Founder of 20-Groups Elainne Sachire will remain on with the group as a mentor and to continue to support growth, Solis said.

“There’s a reason why performance group businesses outperform non-performance group businesses,” Sachire said in the release. “This model has stood the test of time for many, many years in various industries including automotive. Square One’s focus has always been with the independent collision repairer to find solutions that assist its members to not just survive but to thrive.

“This is where CCG and Square One together converge resulting in like-minded people, like-minded resources, and like-minded strategies to help their members be the absolute best they can be.”

Solis says in the release that Sachire’s core values and vision will be embraced moving forward.

“We have big plans to expand our program enabling us to help more shops grow and thrive in today’s ever-changing landscape,” Solis said.

Solis has been in the industry for more than 25 years and has worked in all aspects of the industry, according to previous Repairer Driven News coverage. Solis also is a Society of Collision Repair Specialists National Director.
