SCRS 401(k) Retirement Solutions Webinar
July 18, 2019 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
This Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) webinar will featuring partners in the SCRS 401k Retirement Solutions program.
As recently reported in Repairer Driven News, when industry participants were recently asked what they were doing to address the shortage of technicians/skilled labor, 38 percent of respondents reported “Better Pay,” while 32 percent said “Enhanced Benefits.”
In America today, lack of retirement savings is becoming a major epidemic, with over 55 million employed Americans reported as not have a retirement plan available at work. More than half of those people work for “Small Businesses”.
SCRS sees this as an opportunity to pull our membership together in order to positively impact our industry workforce. Existing SCRS member businesses who have already enrolled have saved on average 37% from their existing plans.
The SCRS Multiple Employer Plan launched in April is one of the most talked-about options in the small business retirement plan market today, and the webinar will help answer questions for business owners who are considering adding a retirement plan, as well as those who would like to compare their existing plan to our new offering. Our members’ businesses will benefit from our collective size to help keep costs low, and will receive service and support that is second-to-none.
Small business owners are often under the assumption that offering a retirement plan will be too expensive or too complicated. But the reality is that many of their employees are unlikely to have any retirement savings without one. This presentation will touch on some of the challenges and objections small business owners and employees are faced with when it comes to retirement savings; and what SCRS and our partners have done to break through these barriers to offer a high-quality Retirement Plan option that can meet everyone’s needs.
Members and non-members are both invited to learn more about the program from our panel of experts:
