Unavailable for several months, according to GM Authority, General Motors’ Super Cruise is now available on several models of each of the OEM’s brands and will be offered on 22 models by the end of 2023.

In May, GM announced it would offer the hands-free feature on the 2023 Chevy Tahoe and 2023 Chevy Suburban but shortly after it couldn’t be ordered “as a result of a constraint” until this month, according to GM Authority.

Super Cruise is described by GM as “the first true hands-free driving-assistance technology for compatible roads. In a recent Insurance Insitute for Highway Safety (IIHS) survey about partial automated driving systems, 53% of Super Cruise users said that they were comfortable treating their vehicles as fully self-driving as did 42% of Tesla Autopilot users, and 12% of Nissan/Infiniti ProPILOT Assist users, which IIHS called “worrying.”

“The big-picture message here is that the early adopters of these systems still have a poor understanding of the technology’s limits,” IIHS President David Harkey said in a statement. “But we also see clear differences among the three owner populations. It’s possible that system design and marketing are adding to these misconceptions.”

GM provided Repairer Driven News with the following list of models that Super Cruise is currently available on:
