Nissan and Infiniti have rolled out a new parts rebate program that enables participating repair facilities to receive up to 22% back on their parts purchases.

The direct rebate program rewards businesses using TraxCollision, a parts procurement platform, to order OEM parts. Rebates are deposited to business accounts through Stripe, minus a 5% processing fee.

The amount received depends on the percentage of OEM parts ordered:

    • Facilities whose orders consist of 65-75% OEM parts receive a 5% rebate on those parts;
    • Those whose orders include 75-85% OEM parts receive a 10% rebate on those parts; and
    • Part orders that include at least 85% OEM parts receive a 20% rebate on those parts.

Collision facilities do not have to belong to the OEMs’ certified repair networks (CRNs) to participate.

However, certified repair facilities receive an extra 1% rebate, provided their total share of OEM parts is at least 50%. They can earn an additional 1% rebate by subscribing to RepairLogic and using it to create at least two Nissan or Infiniti repair plans per month.

Rebates are available for all part numbers and categories, as long as they’re included in the complete repair estimate.

Daniel Dent, Nissan’s certified repair network collision manager, said Nissan launched the program to help meet customer expectations of safe repairs involving OEM parts and trained technicians using the right tools.
“In addition to the care and concern for the vehicle owner, Nissan and Infiniti are striving to provide more value and benefits to collision repairers,” Daniel Dent told Repairer Driven News. “This program was created to positively impact their business and people at the grassroots level. The program has been in development for years and Nissan knows it gives the shop operator an opportunity to take another step towards ensuring they install the parts they feel more confident in.
“Nissan feels this new initiative assists in driving better relationships with their dealers, customers, and owners of their vehicles. Nissan wants to partner with businesses and individuals who care about the customer experience and providing the absolute safest repair possible.”
The program is Nissan’s most comprehensive rebate offered so far, extending rewards for additional elements like being Nissan or Infiniti certified and building Nissan or Infiniti repair plans using RepairLogic.

Michael Bradshaw, vice president of the Nissan-certified K&M Collision in North Carolina, said the initiative is the most generous rebates program he’s seen an OEM offer. He added that the benefits go beyond the financial aspect.

“It helps ensure that a shop can complete a safe and accurate repair in accordance with OEM standards. It can also improve quality, cycle time, and overall customer satisfaction,” Bradshaw told RDN. “I think it is a great thing to see manufacturers rewarding shops for using the factory-correct parts. These OEMs place such an emphasis on using factory parts but there are not many that reward the behavior, much less on the scale Infiniti/Nissan is.”
