The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) has opened registration for the digital delivery of the 2021 Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series, which can be accessed at https://rde.scrs.com.
An RDE Full Series Digital Pass, available for $249, provides remote access to more than 20 educational sessions originally delivered throughout the week at the 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev. SCRS members will receive a 20 percent discount, and will be provided their coupon code by the SCRS office.
Unlike the in-person event, where attendees had to choose between sessions within a time slot, the RDE Full Series Digital Pass provides access to all sessions produced for the program and will remain accessible through August 2022 for continued reference.
For a full list of RDE sessions and speakers, visit https://rde.scrs.com/courses. The first sessions available are OEM Summit Session I on Electric Vehicles, featuring representatives from GM, Lucid Motors and Rivian; and OEM Summit Session II on Telematics Data, featuring Cambridge Mobile Telematics.
Additional sessions will be released in the order in which they are produced. Individuals enrolled in the Full Series Digital Pass will be notified as new course content becomes available.
SCRS said in a press release that the focus of the digital program is on “connecting collision repair businesses who were unable to join in-person at the SEMA Show, with the nation’s leading subject matter experts on topics relevant to today’s marketplace challenges. Attendees can expect the same unique content they would have in classroom settings, now delivered to the convenience of their own facility.”
“This is an opportunity to involve the entire staff within a collision business to acclaimed national-level education, while capitalizing on information designed to re-energize any team member with knowledge and implementable solutions to real-world problems,” SCRS said.
The 2021 Repairer Driven Education series is made possible with support from 3M, AASP, AirPro Diagnostics, AkzoNobel, Axalta Coating Systems, BASF Corporation, CAR-O-LINER, CCC Intelligent Solutions, Celette, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, PBES, Reliable Automotive Equipment, SEMA, Spanesi-Americas, and Toyota Motor Sales.
